walking through the paces of life -
sometimes we find ourselves trapped in the routine of life. nothing exciting - it just has to get done. i would assume that some people, because we are individuals, are better at this than others. feeling a bit like this at the moment...
and a bit like this -
but reality sets in
and it's back to it...
although i am feeling the longing for a journey (no, not the band, not my cup o' tea to say the least)... so we'll have to see what plays out. there are several more weeks of pressing - on lots of levels... and then hopefully a bit of a repose - to gather thoughts, energy and - and - and - yeah, and - that's always the bitch, right?!?

i don't own (nor pretend to) any of these here songs or videos - they are purely for pontification and enunciation... much like a condom for the mind...
not that they make them big enough to fit...

you know every time I hear that Flock of Seagulls song I am transported to the days of playing Grand Theft Auto Vice City and all the commercials they ran on TV for that game featuring the song.
Oh and weird story about DEVO. I was coming back from a doctor's appointment a couple years ago and it was a rather late night because I ran some errands in Madison. I get into this town called Baraboo and there is this bar called Chasers. There is a huge bus parked out front and a sign that read, "One Night Only: DEVO" There was hardly anyone there. Apparently Chasers doesn't have the patrons that fancy DEVO
crzy because you can't afford eccentric? funky because you can't afford clinical depression or any cool disease? singing in the shower because you're not gene kelly and whenever is there a rainstorm when YOUR in the mood? DARNITOL tablets for those times you need to say it like it is. also available in cocaine substitutoot and liquid for mixers for when you need to set the wrong tone.
@godfatherofgreenbay - love baraboo... and the ferry (roxy and solo stuff is pretty fine)... that would have been quite a scene..
I love that cars video. I watch Craig Ferguson (record and watch later) and sometimes when he plays his intro for the tweets and e-mails he has a video that reminds me of that Cars video. Makes me laugh every time!
