my eyes…
i’m… i’m – if i said i was going blind that would be a bit dramatic. but it seems the last few months my eyes have taken a radical turn toward – well maybe away from actually being able to see. i mean i’ve had glasses since i think 2nd grade… so no great shakes there – but – well to be honest a few weeks ago i picked up my first bi-focals… holy cripes. they talked me into progressives – which is the kind that don’t have lines, so only the wearer knows and the people they chose to tell… well that didn’t work out so well. you see i have a bias for adidas frames – i like the way they wrap my head and are protective so that as i work in the field, my eyes are relatively well protected from debris and flying things… that turns out – doesn’t work so well with lenses that are curved… i spent the last two weeks in a constant state of blurdom… just getting more and more frustrated so i went back to the eye doctor yesterday and this time they said no to progressives – do to the curve and now i get lenses with the lines… so now everyone knows i can’t see for crap… but i guess if i can see at all – it’s all good from there.
speaking of curves – been thrown a few lately… and well – just kinda taken each day as it comes and we’ll see what happens… and i guess it’s time for some new tunage… not that i’ve had a grand exposure lately – but just need to kinda find some motivation as gogb seems to like to put it…
eyes… it’s hard to believe what this has become…
i mean it’s ok – and fergie’s fine candy… but the original bep… were really good…
yeah – they’re due some new stuff in the next few months from what i hear…
yep… for those of you who don’t know my tastes – they don’t trend toward pure ‘pop’…
but i will go old school…

better eat more carrots to cancel out the side effects from that thing that makes you go blind
sometimes it is a good idea to find a second opinion..to see another eye doctor…good luck..eyes are serious…

Depeche Mode, haven’t heard them in forever… and, i hear ya about the eye thing… i got lasik about 6 years ago, had better than 20/20 vision, but that only lasted til about 2010… now my eyes are all messed up because i had monovision with the lasik (where one eye sees far, the other sees near, and your brain figures it out)… and now it’s hard to get the right contacts and glasses with that… matter of fact, i’m going back to the eye doctor again next week and hopefully he can figure something out this time, like just keep my eyes in monovision, idk… anyway, the moral of the story is: don’t get lasik.
@Peridot21 - yeah that sucks p21 – i have always been fearful of any eye procedure for that exact concern… i hope – for you that some solution is found… and you keep seeing them bright pretty colors you have such a fondness for!
